SITE HISTORY?? WHAT SITE HISTORY?! The only site history I want people to read about is that of the legendary ID card system, aka Trainer Card Generator. The Sky Temple happens to be the origin of the familiar "Trainer Card Generators". They were first created here in very basic form and contained sprites up to the advanced generation and a variety of photographic, natural backgrounds such as mountains and lakes. No other site had this anywhere at all until roughly half a year after we released ours!! When the generator was taken down from here, other websites took credit for the idea and nobody to this day and age recognises The Sky Temple for it; a real shame because me and Lugia planned to re-create it a while back. Now some of you remember that this page used to contain a lot of The Sky Temple's deep past, but it's time to move on. What matters today is how far we've come rather than how we used to be, so I'm going to be different to all the other sites out there now. I'm going to give you a vague timeline but the details will be spared and this page shall remain relatively short. - July 2004 - Mystic Articuno's Forum is born using proboards.com.
- August 2004 - The Iceberg of Articuno emerges as a simple html and php website.
- December 2004 - The Iceberg of Articuno goes CMS with Phpnuke.
- August 2005 - The Iceberg of Articuno is renamed to The Sky Temple of Lugia and Articuno
- January 2007 - The Sky Temple is fully re-built from scratch.
- February 2010 - The Sky Temple has grown, been updated and has hit 5000 members.
