One night, me and Lugia were talking about the Pokémon games and legendaries, Lugia told me he'd stopped playing them for one very good reason.. something I'm about to explain, our views on the Legendary Pokémon! Why are they called legendary? Because that is what they are. In the games you may capture these Pokemon and use them in battle, but me and Lugia believe this is wrong. How could you even come close to putting your own Pokémon against them when they are so strong? Oh but I hear you argue, "My Pokémon is at level 100!!" but why should legendaries even be given a level..? Think about it this way, they are no ordinary Pokémon, some people even considered them Gods. How would it be possible to do damage to something Godly?
Check out Lugia's aeroblast in the film, watch it travel a mile and totally wreck the ship of Lawrence III, can any living creature really withstand that? I don't think so!! The games gave these Pokémon levels so they would grow. We believe a legendary gains power only with age and pshysical growth, for example, the young Lugia in the episodes 222, 223 and 224. We think you should not be able to hit these creatures as they are even regarded sacred, instead you should be able to gain their trust by playing the game fairly, treating your own Pokémon with love and care etc. This way you can call upon them for help and they will automatically be added to your dex, without having to capture them. To find all legendaries, you'd have to undergo a certain good deed for each. Ofcourse it's still fun to play the games as they are now so don't let this spoil it for you!!!
Disagree with us? We don't really want to know why, we have given our views and we'd appreciate it if there were no emails or threats to us about how wrong we are! We'd like to pass on our message peacefully, meaning you don't have to agree with us! Hardly anyone does infact!
