You blink drearily as you sit in the crammed part of the safehouse, with many other people with you. Most of them have been born here, raised and probably doomed to spend the rest of their lives there. Few go outside, and even fewer come back. The constant moaning of the sorrows have blended in the background noise, and they constantly scratch and attack the sorrow-proof glass, one of the more useful inventions that mankind has made after they appeared. But it's not enough to make up for Humanity's mistakes.
By now, you're probably wondering, what are sorrows?
Well, the government, the sniveling idiots who are the only safe ones, have put up flowcharts on the walls of the shelters. It's almost impossible to ignore. They've put the link right here (
http://img2.smackjeeves.com/images/uploaded/comics/f/3/f3f59acb6KVHP.jpg) for you to check with your Pokechecks, new gauntlet-like items that people are given, similar to touchscreen computers, only quite smaller. They have a top that flips up and down, like a phone, and are used like computers, to research and check. In addition, there are features that allow you to check the stage of a sorrow, whether it's curable or not, and if it is safe to approach it. Now that you know about the pokechecks, we'll speak about humanity's bond with pokemon now. Some people claim that they carry the virus, and they are not used as pets or companions anymore, but protection. They're bred with the best attacks for one of four elements: Surprise, where they have moves that they don't commonly have, usually made by TM, hM, or breeding. Speed, those who can dodge easily and move with ease, and can hit quickly. Defense, those who can take any blow with ease, and Offensive, where they hit hard enough to OHKO a sorrow. Each bred pokemon has an immunity to the virus, and the humans are equipped with healing items and holding ones for the pokemon, like the trainers of the past. Now, you have been chosen to start the government's program to eliminate the sorrow threat to the world, with a special stone imbued with the elements of hope- Loyalty, happiness, selflessness, honesty, kindness, and trust. The stones are commonly called "Elements of Hope" and can be carved into whatever image you want, nothing too detailed, and keep in mind they're only one color. About the size of the palm of your hand, the stones are to be given to you today, and you are to report to the government building outside of the shelter, a test to see if you can handle pokemon well enough to be a helper. You are to leave with a group, all of your items need to be packed into a hammerspace bag, another one of humanity's useful items. It can hold anything with ease, transporting your items to a small dimension for easy access. Now, your adventure is about to begin, now go!

Fusion Appearance: His hair sticks up, now a reddish-cherry wood color. he has a red feather behind his ear and a pair of red-furry ears. Pair of white gloves on his hands, clawed black toe-boots. Whatever he's wearing either becomes navy blue-black or red. A small red tail.
Stone: Trust, a blood-red crescent moon.
Bio: Born in a crowded bunker with only an uncle and his father, he grew up under stern eyes until he became 15, when he broke off from them and decided to head to another safehouse. Jacob was given a weavile, which disliked him very much. However, he nearly died within the first two steps outside, and had no use of the weavile, and had to recuperate in the medical area, where they didn't have enough medicine to fix it completely, so he walks with a strange type of limp. His father was stern with him that night, and he was forced to stay in that bunker for what seemed to be forever, but was only seven years, but was able to keep the weavile, which grew to trust him a lot. One night, recieved a telegram from the government saying that they had heard about how his weavile trusted him so much, and about it's agility, and was told to meet them in a while. So now, after packing and saying goodbye to his uncle and father, he's ready to set out.
Personality: Good natured, to a certain extent, but he can't stand whiny people or the rude type. His somewhat jolly outlook on life is a beacon to everyone, and he has a few good friends.
