I just got an idea for a new poll. Top 10 peas of all time. Once Arti decides when/if that will be a poll, I will freeze the list of top 5 or 10 peas to be the poll options. Thanks to Quanyalis for the idea to put it here.

Well, after spending a couple days on it, I finally managed to get the massive backlog of peas properly moderated. Someone had gone through and marked almost everything as 'sux', so I restored them. Not having database access really hindered me in my effort to clean up, though, and I may have mistakenly resurrected a truly sucky one. I'm fluffy, not perfect! o:3

Wow. Just, wow. For two months I've been doing this whole QDB Peas thing, and I must say I'm thoroughly impressed at what I've seen to be the community response to it. As of this post we have 83 quotes already, probably half of them new to this system.

I've lost reliable, steady Internet access from home so I will not be able to update the Peas script. Again, it's licensed under Creative Commons, so if you know mIRC scripting and would like to do some work on it go for it.
I'm also looking for someone to convert it to script compatible with irssi or xchat. This will unfortunately require a complete rewrite of the script for each version.
I will still be coming around every now and then to handle the peas, so don't count me out yet!

Arti has added all non-spam peas that I haven't already added. Arti has also updated the Peas link to this version, wrapped up in the rest of the site for those that like that. Of course, for those who like it to have the whole window, there's always http://lugia.us/Peas

As you may have noticed, I've already imported most of the non-junk peas into this new system. But, one might ask, what does this new system offer above the old?
Ability to link to a specific pea
The previous Pea system didn't permit one to link to a specific pea, so if one wanted to show an especially spammy one (i.e. greater than 4 lines) one would have to use a notation such as "second page, third pea". Not anymore. Each pea now has a distinct URL, http://lugia.us/Peas/?foo, with foo being a number.

Want to view just the top 25 or 50 peas? Go right ahead, link's up there.
Want to see the latest? Yup, it's there too.
Random? Got it.
