Veronica Taylor is Ash Ketchum's original voice actor in the 4Kids dub for the Pokemon animated series, this weekend Lugia.us went to SunnyCon in Sunderland and got a chance to talk to her and obtain her signature! The below is a photo of myself (Articuno) with Veronica Taylor and my signed Lugia DS case :>



During Veronica's time at SunnyCon on the Saturday, a Q&A session was held for her fans (and me being the impatient type, I was the first to ask her a question), who'd have guessed that Veronica's favourite Pokemon would be PIKACHU?! :p
Rocket_Ninetales asked her how she got into voice acting, Xai asked her if she had found it difficult working without the other voice actors in same room and Nick asked her if she'd ever met Pikachu's voice actor in person.

Yes, it has been an awfully long time since the last update. Well most of you from the community will know that my internet access has been extremely limited since December.. this is why I've not really been around much, but today I had some free time and have made a few updates/changes to the site, hurray!!
First up, I have gone round and given awards to everyone that was outstanding for the last couple of months, so check your profiles if you know you were deserving of an award and didn't receive it ;>
Along with that I have updated the Fan Art of the Month page at last! Congrats to Ran, Shiny Ho-oh and Silver Talon Articuno for winning an award, thanks to everyone else that continues to upload art to the gallery! It's been fun going through them all!

My next update was to the Giant Lugia Plush page, I have added a "comparison" picture showing the differences between the Japanese and American versions of the plush. Hopefully this will give people an idea of what they want to buy or what they currently own!
Lastly, I have updated the staff page to include Aurora in the list - even though she has been a gallery mod for ages, I had forgotten to include her! Well she is also our new Peas admin too! Thanks for your help Aurora :> From now on we hope the Peas will stay up to date and will be used more often!

I have completely revamped the Lugia plushes page as well as the giant Lugia plush page and also added some extra information that has been long outstanding :>
The giant Lugia plush page now goes into detail about the two existing versions of the plush, I have also re-written some paragraphs and removed the old table which displayed the images as it wasn't needed anymore. If you're a fan of the Giant Lugia plush, please go and read up on it and leave a comment!

The Lugia plushes page is looking a lot tidier now as it has no more horrible tables either! I have also taken the time to add another recently discovered and extremely rare plush to the list! It is a huge version of the flying Banpresto Lugia which was released in UFO catcher machines two years ago. Only fifty of them were ever made and they were available as lottery prizes, I was lucky enough to get one myself a while back when it appeared in an auction but sadly it didn't come cheap!

Any feedback on the new layouts of the pages is greatly appreciated, there will hopefully be more minor updates to come soon, including full journal/gallery to profile integration for members!
