Thanks to everyone who took part in the fan art competition yesterday! The competition is now closed and it's now time to announce the winner! EDIT: Due to people entering the competition despite my clear rules and requirements, the prize has been given to the next person in line since the original winner would not provide a mailing address. Congratulations Quanyails!! You have won a boxed figure of Giratina! You were the second person to find the hidden Lugia picture, well done!
Everyone else did really well in finding it too, I thought I'd made it too difficult! I'm very pleased to see how many users took part and it's ashame that I can't give them all a prize!
There will of course be many other chances to win great prizes so keep looking out for new competition announcements, the next big one is still due to be held soon so please remember to take part for your chance to win a large, rare Lugia figure!

I've recently made some minor changes to the fan art gallery and would like to promote this by running a mini competition to win a boxed Pokémon Platinum Giratina figure! The biggest change I made was allowing guests back onto the fan art gallery again as they were previously restricted for security reasons, this issue has now been resolved so everyone should be able to enjoy the artwork of The Sky Temple from now on, this includes rating, commenting and adding art to your favourites! Don't forget that if you're a member you can also create your own gallery for art!

It's free to enter the competition as always but you must have an account at The Sky Temple in order to participate. You must also be willing to provide an address for me to mail the item should you be the winner. This is very important as in the past we have had people entering and winning but not wanting to take the prizes that other people could have had.



The competition is simple! I have placed the above picture of Lugia onto a randomly selected piece of fan art and you just need to find it and email me the link to the picture to win! Here's the catch though, Lugia will NOT show up in album thumbnails so you have to view the artwork itself to find it. Don't worry as you do not have to view the images in full size.
When you think you've found Lugia, send an email to "competitions at lugia dot us" with your username and the URL to the artwork. The direct URL will always be in the file information below the picture so just copy and paste it from here, DO NOT use the URL in the address bar. Please do not reveal Lugia's location to anyone. The first person to email me the correct URL is the winner so get clicking guys as this competition starts immediately, I will end the competition when I feel I have had enough responses and then I will announce the winner on the front page.

I know it's been a while but I have been slowly updating the merchandise pages, in particular I have focused on keeping the plush page up to date, probably because it's the easiest one to do! That and I'd say it's the most fun too, Lugia plushies are my favourite type of merchandise and I usually save any pictures of new plushies instantly so that I don't lose them.
There is so much work to be done on this site that I'm not sure where to start, lots of things have been left outstanding I have to admit, the downloads page is a prime example of this, unfortunately I'm finding it harder and harder to make time for The Sky Temple. My life sure is busy lately but enough about me, lets talk about something amazing like THE RELEASE OF HEART GOLD AND SOUL SILVER! America will see this release on SUNDAY!! While us poor Europeans are going to get it TWO ENTIRE WEEKS LATER! How unfair is that? At least it will be well worth the wait! Hopefully there will be more information about Lugia to place onto the site too, I guess until next time have a great time at The Sky Temple everyone!

What a better way to update the site than to announce my new free images artist? Thankyou Aurora for the time and effort you've already put in to create brand new bird Pokémon pictures for the page! I think they look much nicer than my old style so I hope we will see more of these in the near future!
Unfortunately I myself am unlikely to be making anything for a long time so I'm really glad Aurora has taken on the job, maybe some day we can work together on the site's artwork but until then, please enjoy Aurora's awesome style!
Please also look out for the big competition which has been long overdue, we may be looking at another month or two for this simply because I do not yet have the replacement for the prize I am giving away yet, though it shouldn't be too much longer.

We've just hit the five thousand member mark, thankyou everyone! Especially all my regular community members, all you ever do is help me with the site whether it's by testing new features or by just being here, honestly I really appreciate it and there's nothing more I could owe the success of the site to.
I guess we can call this a sort of celebration update! For those of you who are active community members, you'll probably already know that the site now has a new profile system that you can customise in your own colours and add your own media to. It took about a day to get it working and the feedback I've received has been nothing but positive so far.
While I admit I need to work more on my current pages, I will always prioritise any new features added to the site to get them working as best as I can.
